Skowhegan Savings Sponsors Fairfield's Concert in the Park
FAIRFIELD, Maine - Skowhegan Savings President and CEO, John Witherspoon, attended Fairfield's Concert in the Park on July 22 to present a Skowhegan Savings' sponsorship check for the concert series to Josh Reny, the town's economic development director. Also on hand was Louella Bickford, who started the Concert in the Park program. The musician for this particular week was John Tercyak of Bar Harbor who regaled the crowd with music from the 1970s.
"Community is an important concept to all of us at Skowhegan Savings. That's why we are proud to be part of this weekly summer concert series in Fairfield," said John Witherspoon.
Fairfield's Concerts in the Park summer series, sponsored by Skowhegan Savings Bank, began this year on Thursday, June 4, 2009, and will run all summer, with the last concert being held on September 3, 2009. Concerts will be held at the gazebo in Memorial Park every Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m.
