Kurt Maynard
Commercial Loan Officer
“My favorite part about working for Skowhegan Savings is meeting with current
and prospective commercial and business customers to
find solutions to their respective financing and banking
needs; at Skowhegan Savings, we call this banking with
Integrity."
As
a Commercial Account Officer, I work with businesses
and nonprofit groups to provide them with financing
to meet their various
needs. I also work with our customers to establish
a long term banking relationship based upon trust
and knowledge of their particular industry and their
specific
circumstances.
I
joined Skowhegan Savings in September of 2007 as a
Commercial Account/Loan Officer.
In addition to my primary duties, I am a member of
Strategic Planning Committee for the Bank. I have
over twenty-five years of experience in the area of
commercial
lending and business banking services with fifteen
years at The First National Bank of Damariscotta
in both Damariscotta and Camden/Rockport, Maine and
fifteen
years with Key Bank in Augusta and Boothbay Harbor,
Maine.
I
received my Bachelors of Science degree
in Business Administration from the
University of Southern Maine in 1977. I later attended
the New England School of Banking in 1986, and
the Bank Management Institute School of Advanced Commercial
Lending in 1989.
In
addition to my work responsibilities, I am involved
in a couple of community
programs which give me great pleasure. I am a member
of the Skowhegan Rotary Club and Main Street
Skowhegan Economic Restructuring Committee.
I
reside in Skowhegan with my wife, Patricia. I enjoy
many
outdoor activities
such as snowmobiling, skiing, hiking and fishing.
